Volunteer Opportunities

Make cold calls to union halls, assisted living facilities, and churches to schedule candidate meet-and-greets.

Work closely with the scheduler to coordinate campaign volunteers.

Distribute literature at events, parking lots, store fronts, or door-to-door (no knocking, drop only). Get trained, pick up materials, check in/out with coordinator, report results.

Serve as area point of contact for canvassing events. Recruit canvassers, store/distribute supplies (T-shirts, signs, door hangers), ensure new volunteers get trained, track check-in/check-out for safety, report results.

Help share information about upcoming events and opportunities by distributing flyers or materials at local events, public spaces, or in your daily routine. You don’t need a set schedule, just take materials with you when it works and help spread the word.

Make calls to voters on behalf of the campaign, ask for donations, and build support for Tony Ragin's candidacy ahead of the primary and general election.

Capture photos before, during, and after the Democratic Forum on April 23. Phone photos for social media use. 1 - 2 volunteers needed.

Consistent leadership/support role to help coordinate strategy and day-to-day campaign efforts.

Recruit and schedule hosts for weekly meet & greets (goal: 1/week). Serve as point of contact for hosts and coordinate scheduling with candidate.

Host a meet & greet at your home or a Dem-friendly business. Local Blue will connect you with a candidate or candidates to attend. Provide light refreshments and help promote the event in your neighborhood. No need to coordinate directly with a campaign, we handle the matchmaking.

Help keep Columbia County informed by creating or editing content about local events, meetings, and opportunities. Choose your role: Content Creator (short videos), Writer/Script Creator (captions, scripts, posts), or Editor (polish submitted videos for social media). Flexible, contribute when you're available. You'll be added to a Signal group with content ideas and timelines.

Help deliver yard signs to supporters across Columbia County. Pick up signs from Local Blue, deliver to assigned addresses, and report back. Flexible schedule, go out when it works for you.

Request a yard sign to show your support for Democratic candidates in Columbia County. Fill out the form and Local Blue will coordinate delivery or pickup.

Create and manage social media content to promote the campaign and grow supporter engagement.

Make calls to voters and supporters on behalf of the campaign to share information and mobilize turnout.

Manage day-to-day campaign operations and coordinate staff and volunteers.

Attend meet & greet events to take notes on constituent issues, hand out literature, and support event logistics.

Call or text voters to remind them to vote, secure support commitments, and spread the word about the campaign. Flexible scheduling work from home or campaign HQ.
